EIA and Wildlife Hazard Management Plan for Radamis Tourist Complex, Sharm El-Sheikh

Mawael Environmental Consultancy prepared both the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan for the proposed Radamis Tourist Complex in Sharm El-Sheikh, located within the easement area of Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport. The EIA evaluated the environmental impacts associated with the construction and operation of the tourism development in accordance with Egyptian environmental regulations and EEAA requirements. In parallel, the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan assessed potential interactions between wildlife, particularly bird populations, and aircraft operations in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines and Civil Aviation Authority requirements. The study evaluated bird attractants, migratory flyways, habitat conditions, and operational risks, and developed practical mitigation measures, monitoring programmes, and wildlife management procedures to minimize bird strike risks while supporting environmentally responsible tourism development and aviation safety.
