EIA, Air Dispersion and Noise Modelling for QD Metal Recycling Facility

Mawael Environmental Consultancy prepared the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed QD Metal Recycling Facility in Qatar on behalf of Gulf Consulting Group (GCG). The study was undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) through a two-phase process comprising the preparation of the Terms of Reference followed by the full Environmental Impact Assessment after regulatory approval. The assignment also included advanced air dispersion and noise modelling to quantify potential environmental impacts associated with the facility’s construction and operation. The assessment evaluated air emissions, operational noise, and potential impacts on nearby receptors, while developing appropriate mitigation measures, environmental management actions, and monitoring requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and environmentally responsible operation of the recycling facility.
