EIA, Air Dispersion and Noise Modelling for Technical Factory for Plastic Recycling

Mawael Environmental Consultancy prepared the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed Technical Factory for Plastic Recycling in the Afja Industrial Zone, Qatar, on behalf of Gulf Consulting Group (GCG). The assessment was completed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and followed a two-phase approach comprising the preparation of the Terms of Reference and the full Environmental Impact Assessment following regulatory approval. In addition to the EIA, Mawael performed advanced air dispersion and noise modelling to quantitatively evaluate potential environmental impacts associated with the facility’s operation. The study identified potential impacts on surrounding receptors, assessed compliance with applicable environmental standards, and developed practical mitigation measures and environmental management recommendations to support environmentally responsible industrial development and regulatory approval.
