EIA for Ibn El Nafees Battery Recycling Facility

Mawael Environmental Consultancy supported the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Ibn El Nafees Battery Recycling Facility in Qatar by delivering specialized air dispersion and noise modelling services. Working in collaboration with Gulf Consulting Group (GCG), the assignment evaluated atmospheric emissions and operational noise impacts during the facility’s operational phase using quantitative environmental modelling techniques. The modelling results were integrated into the overall EIA to assess compliance with Qatar’s environmental regulations, identify potential impacts on surrounding receptors, and develop appropriate mitigation measures. The study contributed to environmentally responsible planning for the recycling facility while supporting sustainable industrial development and regulatory approval.
