Environmental and Social Assessment Report (ESAR) for EF 2131
Environmental and Social Assessment Report supporting oil field development in North Kuwait through environmental baseline studies, impact assessment, and KEPA compliance.

Project Scope
Mawael Environmental Consultancy prepared the Environmental and Social Assessment Report (ESAR) for the EF 2131 development project in the North Kuwait oil fields in accordance with Kuwait Environmental Public Authority (KEPA) requirements. The assignment established environmental baseline conditions using primary and secondary environmental data and assessed potential impacts associated with construction and operation of new oil production infrastructure, including drilling activities, electrical power distribution systems, and associated surface facilities. Environmental and social risks related to air quality, noise, waste management, occupational health and safety, and surrounding environmental receptors were evaluated, followed by the development of practical mitigation measures, monitoring programmes, and environmental management procedures. The assessment supported regulatory compliance while promoting environmentally responsible implementation and sustainable operation of the proposed oil field development.
